The Great Britain iaido squad, referees and supporters are just back from the 21st European Iaido Championships in Helsinki, Finland. Congratulations to Kristina Poslusna and Andy Watson for winning bronze medals.

Well done also to Tecwyn Lee, William Heal, Daniel Silk, David Parker, Harry Jones and Lee Mountain, who made it through the pool stages but were later knocked out.

The competition followed two days of intensive training with Sakono Sensei (hanshi, 8th dan), Kusama Sensei (hanshi, 8th dan) and Aoki Sensei (hanshi, 8th dan).

A huge thanks to the Finns for a well run event. Really good job!
